Deal Directly with the Same Therapist from Start to Finish

Toronto Speech Clinic is dedicated to providing families with the right amount of support they need for their child to succeed without exceeding their financial range. When you entrust Toronto Speech Clinic with your child’s communication development, you can rest assured they will deal directly with Cara Christmas from start to finish in all aspects of the service for better results.

Services

Cara Christmas provides in-person and virtual assessments and therapy in the following areas:

  • Early language delays

  • Developmental delays

  • Articulation delays

  • Motor speech disorders

  • Preschool fluency (stuttering)

  • Early narrative development

Session Length

Assessments are typically 1.25 hours in length but can range from 1 hour to 1.5 hours.  A standard therapy session is 45 minutes to 1 hour in length.  However, the frequency and duration of therapy sessions is variable and customized to fit  your child’s needs and abilities.  At Toronto Speech Clinic, parental input and participation is both encouraged and welcomed.

Referrals & Rates

Cara accepts referrals from parents, physicians, paediatricians and child care professionals. Hourly rates are within the recommended range set by the Ontario Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (OSLA). Families may have some coverage available through extended health care plans.
